OK everyone... we must think outside the box to get help into our city! Here's what I propose we do to get a government response faster:

1. Announce they are giving late term abortions down at the Convention Center
2. Spread the rumor that they're thinking about disconnecting the feeding tube of a (white) woman in a coma at one of the hospitals still standing.
3. Ask a calm, mourning, middle aged woman to camp out for peace along Canal Street.

(PS... I already dread hearing Bush's BS after his visit today!)

	I found you through katrinacaned's journal which I found through scyllacat's LJ. Anyhow, I agree with you. Help does not arrive soon enough and even the propaganda machines' reporters are fed up with the long wait. Where was all the supplies yesterday? This is very much not kosher in my book. I really hope this ends up being the final nail in Shrub's political coffin. There's a huge antiwar protest scheduled for September 24th - there's going to be a march on D.C.

Oh my, and now there's also TENS OF THOUSANDS of VERY PISSED OFF PEOPLE with nothing to go home to...!!!

Thanks ever so much for making me laugh about the situation. I was so mad that I literally couldn't speak when a coworker of mine that is a Republican started blaming Clinton. I had to walk away and pant until I finally caught my breath.

You cleared away the anger and made me ready to do my part.

Please don't forget to add to your list that Rosie O'Donnell is marrying her longtime lover as well as Melissa Etheridge. We'll really get all the moral-majority Republicans down there to help out!

	It's a pity this didn't happen in an election year, bush would have been down like a shot if it had, he doesn't have to care about ratings any more.
